Elk River Middle School Wrestling 2025-2026 Registration

Welcome Elk River Middle School  Wrestling families!  We are excited to get the 2025-2026 season underway! Our goal is to engage wrestlers in practices at their level and create a positive wrestling experience while developing strong technical fundamentals in the sport of wrestling.  We encourage you to read carefully through registration or view more information on what we are offering this season at www.elkriverwrestling.com

  1. To register, you will complete contact information, sign up for participation, select uniforms, and submit payment.  If you are registering more than one youth wrestler, you will have the opportunity to register another participant prior to payment.
  2. Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately. 
  3. To complete registration payment please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or ACH Bank Account information available.

 

ELK RIVER MIDDLE SCHOOL WRESTLING: WHAT TO EXPECT

Welcome to the 2025-2026 Elk River MS Wrestling Registration.
Please read the details below in entirety, and take photos of important dates listed on the screen below. 
 
MIDDLE SCHOOL SEASON
  • Elk River Middle School program is Grades 6th-8th grade Nov 3rdth- Jan 30th
  • All 6th graders and any 7-8th not going to high school room will continue the practices until March 13th. 
  • Practices M-F 3:15-5:00 at Salk Middle School Upper Gym
  • COST: $300.00 for 6th graders includes singlet and warm up.
WHAT TO EXPECT
  • Middle School Competes during the weekdays with a couple Saturday Tournaments.
  • 7-8th will be eligible to join the 9th grade high school league. Each wrestler that choses this option will have to be weight certified and register with the high school AD office. If they weight certify and register with High School they will Not be able to do any open tournaments until the High School season is over. We encourage all wrestlers to compete in Open Tournaments and MNUSA Tournaments on the weekends if eligible.
  • Schedules will be provided after the first week of practice. 
POST SEASON INFORMATION
At the end of the  Middle School Season, wrestling practices change based on grade level,
  • 7th & 8th graders have the option to move to the HS Practice Room (Must Register with HS  & Have Physical on File with the HS  by 11/30- more detailed information will be sent out prior to first practice.) If they do not wish to go to the high school for practice the Middle school practices will continue for all 6-8 graders until March 13th 2026.
WEEKEND OPEN TOURNAMENTS:
For kids that are not registering with the High School we highly recommend participating in Open Tournaments including MNUSA competition.  
 

READ BELOW INFORMATION CAREFULLY

APPAREL: ALL WRESTLERS will purchase their singlet on the Uniform Page of Registration.  Each new and registered Middle School Wrestler will receive a TEAM Warm Up Pullover.  Size charts are listed in the drop down menu on the apparel page. If they wrestler was registered in the past and they need a new warm up they are 75.00 dollars and available to order in this registration. 

There will also be a TEAM/FAN apparel link.  It will be emailed out, as well as posted on the Elk River Middle School Wrestling Facebook Page.

IMPORTANT DATES:
Kick Off Night: Tuesday, October 14th and this will be virtual.
First Day of Practice: Monday, November 3rd
7-8 Middle School season ends January 30th 2026
All practice ends March 13th 2026
